Chapter Selection:
*nRg Clan New Membership Rules:
All membership applications for the *nRg team are considered and no one application is greater than another. This group of fine individuals was designed to be ran by the members, no one else. In order to continue to offer this democratic team the opportunity to voice their opinions regarding everything, including membership, these rules were developed:
Things to remember: Our team is only as good as we make it. Together we win, and together we lose. It is extremely important to be prepared to evaluate new members for admission and/or exclusion. Whether we have fun or not depends on the seriousness our current members have on the opt-in process.
Rules for application:
1) All new players need to be sponsored, or represented, by a current member. Length of that sponsoring members service is not important. ALL CURRENT MEMBERS can sponsor someone. It is recommended that newer members refrain from recruiting even newer members, but is not required...it's only in respect for the older members.
2) The newly sponsored player's ballot will be placed by the sponsoring member on the *nRg website forum. This posting should include the members screen name, email, iChat ID, and some other information regarding the player. "He kicks ass"!! isn't enough. Post useful information...in addition to "he kicks ass".
3) After this information is posted, the new player will wear the * and .P tags before and after his/her name to designate this player is in the probationary period during which time all members are expected to play with, communicate to, and evaluate performance and attitude before casting a vote.. (Example: *E.Dowd.P) Remember, once the member is added, our team lives with it.
4) Two things need to be established during the proby period that will help your final decision:
1) The attitude of the player, and
2) Tthe skill-set.
5) The probationary player will also register with *Damn, and that player will remain “Pending” until the voting process has been concluded and a decission rendered. This is the responsibility of the Clan Leader, currently *Lob.
6) All probationary players will be voted in or out by the other members of *nRg. Ballots are now being posted on the *nRg website. All members should vote!!! No exceptions - this is our team, keep it that way.
7) The results of the vote will determine membership. Majority vote rules! If only half our members vote, then too bad. Majority Rules!
Back
*nRg Clan “Time to say Good-Bye”:
Some players are both hard working individuals at home and work, and others are just game freaks. The *nRg Team was developed to satisfy both, but more focused on the full-time working game player, one whose game schedule is determined by either work, the significant other, or BOTH.
From time-to-time some of our members are gone for great lengths, never to be seen or heard from again. To help keep the doors open for new recruits and also to help eliminate those players no longer with us, another set of rules were generated for those players it is time to say good-bye to.
1) No member will be removed by any one individual. Like the addition of new members, all ejections will be removed via a vote located on the same ballot message board.
2) To be eligible for ejection, you must meet one of the four criterion:
a. Not active during the current season (CBing is not necessary during a season since skill determines who plays in a CB, not a desire too).
b. Not communicating with and/or avoiding other team members. This is not a soup-kitchen for homeless gamers. Get in or get out !!
c. Not keeping up with team functions and/or activities. (This might include getting hooked up to KDX – which is required).
d. Meet the requirements for Automatic Termination as stated in the next chapter.
3) Once ejected, you are gone! You can, however, be re-sponsored for membership only one more time and a vote will be conducted in accordance with the rules above.
4) A request can be made for an extension by just letting the members know of your intent to be absent. The best way to do so is either through email or the message board. Keeping everyone informed is the best way to stay active. MIA, KIA, visiting grandma's, whatever the excuse, might result in ejection.
5) A member can also step down and out of the team. If this takes place, that member will be welcome back into the team when he/she so chooses and will not be subjected to a probationary period but instead welcome to immediate re-activation. To prevent the abuse of this section, you will be allowed only once to return. After that, go to another clan and explain to them how serious of a commitment you're prepared to make...let's see if they let you in.
Being removed from the clan is not a sign of wrongdoing, but an effort by the team to make membership more easily manageable. Remember, just as we vote to add members so shale we vote to remove. This team has always spawned the best, funniest, and most active players around. The last thing we want is dead weight.
If any member meets the following criteria below, that person will be subject to immediate termination pending a review from their peers:
1) Any intentional glitching. This applies only when it represents a disadvantage to the other team. Trying to discover potential glitches for awareness purposes does not represent a problem and is recommended.
2) MODs that create any unfair advantage(s) to the other team if not agreed upon before the CB. This will not be tolerated at any level. Full Screen Night Vision, Heat Seeking Nades, Special Sensor Tactics, etc… If you’ve got them and play with them, you’re gone.
3) Any inquiry into MODs or Glitches for the sole purpose to use and exploit on other teams for gain.
4) Discussing with other clans as to who wins and who loses for the sake of gathering points to beat the legitimacy of any CB Ladder, whether it be *DAMN or others.
5) Creating a “Dumby Clan” to challenge to CBs with the intention of winning for easy points.
6) Any discussion with another clan regarding *nRg strategy or private information. This is something we regard highly...our trust.
7) *nRg members fighting amongst eachother...seriously of course not jokingly. We play as a team, not as enemies. If a resolution can not be found, then both members will be seperated.
8) Any and/or all acts that would lead any member to question the validaty of ones “INTEGRITY”.
Of course all automatic terminations will be subjected to a review of their peers and a typed statement will be accepted on the defending party's behalf.
Integrity is all we've got. Doing what is right when no one else is looking. *nRg expects and demands the very best from its members for the sake of pure fun. No one likes a cheater, a jerk, someone that’s rude, or an asshole. Just play.
We have seen this past season (season 6) what can happen to a clan when a member of it is caught cheating. It ruins the reputation of the clan and all the members that represent it.
